This is a gouache painting of the antique pipe fitting behind the New Haven Regional Water Authority building. The white building in the background is the visitor center for the Eli Whitney barn (not visible).
I painted for about an hour and half. I had to leave because the light was changing, and because my fingers were getting cold.
